Alex Meyer attended Greensburg High School in Greensburg, Indiana, and played for his high school’s baseball team. Alex played for the Bulls in the summers of 07 and 08. In 2008, his senior year, Meyer was named a high school All-American, Indiana’s Mr. Baseball, and the Indiana Player of the Year by Gatorade and Louisville Slugger. The Boston Red Sox selected Alex in the 20th round of the 2008 MLB Draft. He ultimately turned that down and played college baseball for the Kentucky Wildcats and then was drafted in the 1st round of the 2011 draft to the Washington Nationals.

Alex played in Major League Baseball for the Minnesota Twins and the Angels. He officially announced his retirement from professional Baseball on June 25, 2019, due to injuries. He last played for the Los Angeles Angels in 2017. Alex has been an assistant coach for the Bulls over the past couple of years for the 16s in the fall and last summer.
