Attended University of Kentucky; played professional baseball for 8 years in the San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, Colorado Rockies and Cleveland Indians organizations.

Following his career in professional baseball, returned to Purdue University to finish his degree.

Lives in West Lafayette with his wife Gina, and their two boys, Hayes and Taggart.
